Tulsa Bone and Joint uses equipment called a DEXA scanner to test for bone loss. This is a quick and painless test that takes only minutes to complete. The tests results are reviewed immediately following the scan, therefore, you and the densitometrist can determine what life-style changes or treatment measures should be taken to reduce your chance of bone loss and possible future fractures.
